Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before we get started answered honestly.
More than ten at this point including aviation, fine art, agriculture, lawn equipment, mobile technology, autism care, professional coaching, software, hospitality, and helicopter surveying. The technology behind every engagement is largely industry agnostic. The systems, automations, and AI models I build adapt to how your specific business operates. If you have a process that runs on chaos, it qualifies.
That is actually a great starting point. The first thing we do is analyze what you already have not to replace everything, but to understand what is working, what is not, and what the right move is. Sometimes we switch a tool, sometimes we adapt it, sometimes we optimize what is already there. The decision is always based on what makes the most operational sense for your business never on what is the most impressive or the newest thing on the market.
Possibly but only if it genuinely makes sense for your operation. This is always a decision we make together. Just because a piece of software is considered "the best" does not mean it is the best for your specific business. I have been the operator sitting on your side of the table. I will never push a tool because it is impressive. I will only recommend what actually makes your team's work easier.
Every business is different and anyone who promises you a specific timeline before understanding your operation is not being honest with you. It also depends on the tier you're going to choose. But what I can tell you is this: within the first month you will have something real in your hands. Not a proposal, not a presentation. A working system you can touch, test, and feel. From there the pace is set by your goals and your budget.
I keep my roster small on purpose. Every client gets my full attention, not a fraction of it. For Focused Progress and Full Throttle engagements that means you get me directly not a team member, not a sub-contractor. I do have trusted developers and professionals available for specific situations, but they work under my direct management. When you work with me you are not buying a service, you are gaining a partner who is fully invested in making your business run better. That is a commitment I take seriously, and it is one I can only make to a few.
Everything is month to month. No long term traps. If you need to cancel or downgrade you simply send a written notice Full Throttle and Focused Progress tiers require 30 days notice, Consistent Progress requires 14. Your agreement auto renews as long as we have work to do. If a project wraps up and you just need your systems maintained, we default to a lightweight maintenance arrangement so nothing breaks and you stay protected as tools evolve.
You do. Upon full payment every system, workflow, and deliverable built specifically for your business belongs to you entirely. I retain the right to apply the knowledge and methodology I develop that is how I keep improving across every client but your business logic, your data, and your operational IP are yours and yours alone. For higher tier engagements I build directly inside your own accounts so you have full administrative ownership from day one.
With the same standards applied to the most regulated industries I work in. I currently serve clients under HIPAA compliance and GDPR requirements. Every system is configured with industry standard encryption and data protection by default including the third party platforms we integrate, such as Google Cloud which is compliant out of the box when configured correctly. Your data is treated with the same care I would want applied to my own.
A developer builds what you tell them to build. I figure out what actually needs to be built and those are often very different things. I have spent over 20 years as an operator, a COO, a CEO, and a Chief Flight Instructor before I ever wrote a line of code. That background means I approach every engagement from the business first and the technology second. I have also been honest enough with clients to tell them when a traditional development team is the better long term answer. That has happened. We had lunch afterward and they sent me referrals. Your success and your trust matter more to me than keeping the engagement going.
